today was so frickin' awesome! the hike up mt webster from rt 302 and over the webster cliffs was so unbelievably exhilarating. it was basically mt climbing where i had to lash my poles to my pack and use my hands to climb up. so great. i stopped at zealand hut for leftover pancakes and made it to mizpah hut for another awesome meal and an easy work-for-stay. i also had an awesome onversation about religion, which always makes me happy. 17.3mi from guyot to mizpah shelter. 1845.2 total.
