i really pushed it today. i just felt so great and was loving every minute. i know i've said this before, but the trail really does change the very first step into a new state. and nh is my 13th state! it is so different. lots of evergreen, even at lower elevations, and a lot more rock ledges to climb up. yay! probably my favorite part of hiking. 27.2mi from velvet rocks to hexacuba shelter. 1770.7 total.
