day 4 - 3/14

last night i chose an amazing spot right on a rock ledge on top of cowrock that had almost 180 deg views facing se. i saw the most beautiful sunset and then got an even better sunrise! it was amazing. this planet we live on is so beautiful. today was absolutely perfect weather. low 70s and lots of sun. so, i pushed myself a little more and decided to go 13.2 mi to blue mt shelter. its the first one i've stayed at and i met lots of great people. a little noisy though with all the shifting around and snoring. i think i prefer to be out in the woods alone with just the animals and the silence of the night. 13.2 mi from cowrock to blue mt shelter. 48.7 total.
