day 93 - 06/11

so i left the happy hiker hostel early this morning to tackle two big climbs - moosilauke and kinsman. last night i met some great people - hope the knee heals quickly, carlo! moosilauke was both challenging and exhilarating. i don't have any pics, however, cuz the weather was in the process of clearing and so the summit was still socked in. i still just sat and offered mantras in sanskrit as thanks for such and amazing spot. well, i chanted until i started shivering and then just had to move on. :) the video is of my hike up the second climb of the day - mt kinsman. it was steep to say the least and so loved it. i kept on trucking and eventually made it to the lonesome lake hut, where i hit the jackpot tonight. there were only five guests, which is unheard of, and the croo was incredibly welcoming and a blast to hang out with. i passed mile 1800 today! 22.6mi from the hiker hostel to lonesome lake hut. 1808.1 total.
